Lib Dems voted for cheaper schools option

John Morrison - Liberal Democrat Council Leader has admitted his party opted for the cheaper option in the PPP new schools project.

This option included moving the site of Bishopbriggs Academy (against the decision of public consolation) from the preferred site of Bishopbriggs High School to the Thomas Muir site.

The council said at the time this option provided a better school on education grounds, their reasons can be found here.

If the council want to save money, I think, our children's education is the last place they should be looking for savings.
