We get what we deserve...

The people of Bishopbriggs will get what they deserve after the elections in May.

Legislation states that when two schools amalgamate an election for a new school board should take place as soon as possible.

Almost NINE MONTHS later we are still waiting.

It also states that each candidate should produce UP TO 250 words presenting their case. Yet Ken Low produces more and that is accepted.

Read this site and then decide if these people are representing your interests....

I will not be updating it in the future - you get what you deserve....

James
It is a shame that you have decided to finish your blog. Over the past months it has become a talking point, and more importantly a source of information for people all over Bishopbriggs.

It is important that people make their views known about any local issues.

Even if they feel they have not been successful, without their opposition things would have been a whole lot worse.

Well done James.

And remember it ain't over till the Planning conditions are fulfilled...and from what I'm seeing that may prove to be another campaign all of its own.

I agree with the last comment. What a shame this has ended. You certainly managed to capture the mood of many people who were very unhappy about the school site and the undemocratic methods employed by the lib-dems. Perhaps you could reconsider and continue when any new material comes to light.
Incidently, I shared some emails with the provest over the siting of the high school - she assured me that the sport facilities would justify the decision - errr, enough said!
